Wild hogs are a real nuisance on Florida ranches destroying the grass with their rooting in the ground as they forage for food. Scenes like this unfold on ranches across Florida all the time; cattle are being gathered when hogs get stirred up and flushed on the run. Given their nuisance status, it’s not uncommon for cowboys on the crew to give chase catching the hog live and tying it down until they can sell it later making a little side money in addition to their day wages for working cows.
