This event brings together living history demonstrations, storytelling, music, ranch traditions, historic photography, art, and cultural food traditions that tell the story of Florida’s cattle culture, a heritage that stretches back more than 500 years.
Brad will be there featuring his artwork and sharing cow culture history with a live presentation on Saturday May 2nd.

During this week long event, Brad will be joining the Cowhunter Crew on the cattle drive from Yeehaw Junction to the Okeechobee Cattlemen’s Rodeo Arena concluding with a cowboy heritage festival. During the weeklong event, he’ll be capturing reference photos and working sketches that will be used to create a painting commemorating the 2026 cattle drive. On Tuesday evening, Brad will be performing cowboy poetry and sharing cow hunting stories along with 4 other special guests. The general public is welcome to the End of the Trail Heritage Festival on Saturday 9AM - 5PM where Brad and his family will have a vendor booth featuring Cowhunters Unlimited merch and his artwork. Wide Open Spaces is an art exhibit hosted by the Southwest Florida Community Foundation featuring the work of artists Martin Gembecki of Buckingham and Brad Phares of Okeechobee.
