Mr. Paul Bowers Sr. served as a machine gunner with the USMC in Vietnam where he received the Purple Heart. Mr. Bowers approached Brad with an idea for a commissioned painting which he’d held in his mind for a number of years simultaneously portraying a Seminole warrior in the jungles of Vietnam and that same man in traditional dress like that of his ancestors. The task of capturing a vision seen only in the mind of another person can be daunting, but upon being presented with the painting Mr. Bowers said it came out exactly as he had hoped it would.
