It’s hard to say who was most surprised in this encounter deep in the Florida flatwoods, but both the horse and the turkey decided that it was time to take flight and find somewhere else to go as the cowboy does his best to keep a leg on each side of the horse and his mind in the middle. A not-so-uncommon sight on Florida ranches, and an experience that makes for a great memory to share when stories are swapped for years to come.
